These aids are not compatible with each other. The Social Work Unit in your area will provide further information.
Typically, citizens who apply for assistance already have an employee from the company, and if they don’t want to change, they request financial assistance from the City Council instead of having a person assigned by them. Some families also have an employee from the City Council for a few hours and then hire an Attentus worker for additional hours. We primarily work with long-standing, trusted in-house personnel. When we do hire new employees, we look for resourceful individuals with demonstrable experience in the industry, and we make contact with the individuals or companies they previously worked for.

For hourly jobs, we will agree on the schedule, and on the first day, there will be an introduction either at your home or in our office, depending on your preference.
If it’s for live-in staff, the next step is to introduce the worker to the family so they can get to know each other before going to the home. If all parties are in agreement, a contract will be signed, and the worker will start on the agreed-upon day and time.
